My Experience and Expertise.
My experience and expertise is in teaching GCSE English Language and English Literature is vast. I have taught all exam boards: AQA, Edexcel, WJEC Eduqas and recently OCR to pupils attending Grammar school!
I am an expert at teaching the familiar Literature texts such as An Inspector Calls, Journey’s End, A Christmas Carol, Jekyll and Hyde, Animal Farm, Macbeth, A Merchant of Venice, Romeo & Juliet etc. This included the different clusters of poetry in AQA, Edexcel and OCR.
However recently, I have worked with pupils in different schools who have opted for the new modern texts such as Leave Taking and the diverse and inclusive poetry anthologies offered by OCR, Edexcel, Eduqas and AQA which has been inspiring to teach.
